Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a slow, intentional therapy that supports the body’s innate ability to clear, soften, and restore. Using gentle, rhythmic touch, this work encourages the movement of lymphatic fluid—helping to reduce stagnation, ease inflammation, and support the body’s natural detoxification pathways.

This work is especially supportive for women moving through hormonal shifts, digestive sluggishness, postpartum healing, or a general sense of heaviness and disconnection. By tending to the lymphatic system, we create subtle but powerful shifts, inviting lightness, improved circulation, and a deeper connection back to the body.

Each session is slow, intuitive, and deeply restorative, honoring the season you are in.

Post-Operative Lymphatic Drainage

Post-operative Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, essential layer of support for the healing body. After surgery, the lymphatic system often becomes overwhelmed, leading to swelling, fluid retention, and areas of congestion. This work helps guide that fluid out of the tissues, supporting a smoother, more supported recovery.

At Rooted, post-op care is offered with deep respect for the body’s vulnerability during this time.

This treatment can help reduce swelling, minimize fibrosis, ease discomfort, and encourage more even healing following procedures such as cesarean birth, liposuction, or abdominal surgery. Sessions are always adapted to your body, your timeline, and your capacity—never rushed, never forced.
